Our Story

Founders of Bloom & Petal in their first shop

Bloom & Petal began in 2010 as a small passion project between two friends, Emily Chen and Sarah Mitchell, who shared a deep appreciation for the beauty of flowers. What started as a modest kiosk at the local farmers' market has blossomed into one of the city's most beloved floral boutiques.

Their unique approach quickly gained attention, and within a year, they opened their first brick-and-mortar shop in the heart of downtown.

As demand grew, so did their team and offerings. In 2015, they expanded to their current location, a beautiful heritage building with ample space for their design studio, retail area, and a small garden where they grow some of their specialty blooms. They also began offering workshops, sharing their passion and knowledge with the community.

Today, Bloom & Petal is recognized for its distinctive aesthetic, sustainable practices, and commitment to bringing the transformative power of flowers into everyday life. While we've grown considerably over the years, we remain true to our roots: a small business founded on friendship, creativity, and a profound love for nature's most beautiful creations.
